One credit per matched result
- Contacts (by address, phone, email or name): 1 credit when found.
- Property details: 1 credit when the property is on record.
- Owner check: 1 credit per answer.
- Phone check: 1 credit per answer.
- Nearby homes: 1 credit per home returned with contacts.
- Business: 1 credit when a business or a company owner is found, and 1 credit for each officer whose contacts you ask for and get.
- A list: the price of each row that matches.
What is free
- A lookup or a list row with no match.
- A lookup that fails or is refused.
- An ambiguous name: you get the candidates, not their contacts.
- An owner check when no owner is on record, and a phone check when nobody is on record at the address.
- A row kept as it is in a fill-missing list.
- A business lookup when no business is listed and no company owns the property.
- The list result, the account, the help search and wrong-number reports.
Pay once per property
When you already paid for a home, more data about it is free: the contacts again, the owners, the property details, the owner check or a phone check there. The result comes back in full with one notice: "You unlocked this record earlier, so no credit was charged." In a list, the reply counts those rows once, for example "2 rows were unlocked earlier and were not charged."
Free credits at sign-up
A new Scout Data account gets 10 free credits, enough for 10 matched contact lookups.
Buy credits
Buy more credits on your Scout Data account page at app.scoutdata.com. The same page shows your balance, your purchases and what you spent. There is no monthly limit: you use credits whenever you want, as many as you have.
The credits line in every reply
Every lookup reply ends with the credits used and the credits left, for example "Credits used: 1. Credits left: 9." Ask for your balance at any time:
How many Scout Data credits do I have?
Your Scout Data account has 9 lookup credits left. Credits are managed in your Scout Data account: app.scoutdata.com.
If your credits are too few for a lookup or a list, nothing is charged and the reply gives the account page link.
