How to report
Tell the assistant which number was wrong, in the same chat or a later one. It calls report_wrong_number with the number and the lookup id or list id it came from. You can report 1 to 50 numbers at a time.
The number (512) 555-0142 from that lookup was wrong.
Reported. Another number for Taylor Brooks: (512) 555-0199.
What comes back
One answer per number:
- Another number for the same person: "Reported. Another number for Taylor Brooks: (512) 555-0199."
- No other number known: "Reported. No other number is known for Taylor Brooks."
- A number reported before: "This number was already reported. No other number is known." A second report changes nothing.
- A number that did not come from your lookups: "This number did not come from a lookup on this account, so it cannot be replaced. If it came from a list, report it again with the list id."
- The replacement limit: "Reported, but not replaced: an account gets replacements for at most half of the records it has been charged for, and this account has reached that limit."
The 7-day memory
Scout Data remembers the people of a single lookup for 7 days, so a report within that time finds the person and a replacement. A number from a list can be reported with the list id while the list is kept on your account. If a report says the number did not come from your lookups, report it again with the list id, or run the lookup again.
