Three sales in one day
This rep sells solar in Colorado. In October 2024 the rep shared a screenshot, and we showed it on one of our training calls: three sales in one day, all from homes picked on our map.
One of the three was a 4.51 kW system. The home had a solar permit that expired eight years earlier. Someone at that address had wanted solar enough to pull a permit, and the system was never installed. Eight years later, the rep closed it.
The idea behind expired permits
A solar permit that was canceled, denied or expired, with no panels on the roof, means a homeowner who once said yes, and then something went wrong. Usually it is one of three things: the company canceled, the experience was bad, or life changed. The rep does not have to sell solar from scratch. The first question is what happened.
Two notes on this result
It is from 2024, and it reached us as a screenshot, not a call log, so we cannot give a dial count or a rate. We show it because the story is exact, and it is the same kind of home we sell today.
