BatchSkipTracing pricing is now BatchData pricing: batchskiptracing.com redirects to batchdata.io, and BatchData publishes its skip-tracing plans starting at $2,000/month for up to 100,000 records, as publicly advertised on batchdata.io in September 2026.
Disclosure: Scout Data is our product; treat that entry as a maker's pitch and the rest as our honest read.
Why the name changed
The Batch family reorganized in 2025. PropStream's parent company acquired BatchLeads and BatchDialer — the investor list platform and its paired dialer. BatchData, the bulk data and API arm, was not part of the deal and continues independently. BatchSkipTracing was the pre-reorganization brand name for the skip-tracing capability that sat across both products; its domain now redirects to BatchData's site, which means searching BatchSkipTracing pricing and searching BatchData skip tracing pricing now land on the same page.
If you are looking for skip tracing on the BatchLeads side — the PropStream-family product — that is priced separately through BatchLeads or PropStream, not on batchdata.io. The BatchLeads vs BatchData guide has the full map of who owns what.
What BatchData publishes
As publicly advertised on batchdata.io in September 2026, BatchData offers four skip-tracing tiers with monthly or annual commitment options:
| Tier | Records per month | Monthly price (skip tracing) | Effective per-record rate (at full use) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | Up to 100,000 | $2,000/mo | $0.020 |
| Professional | Up to 300,000 | $5,000/mo | $0.0167 |
| Scale | Up to 750,000 | $10,000/mo | $0.0133 |
| Enterprise | Up to 3,000,000 | $20,000/mo | $0.0067 |
Pricing on this page is as publicly advertised at the time of writing — confirm current pricing with BatchData directly, and with our sales team for Scout Data.
The plans include mobile and landline numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, DNC status verification, a litigator scrub, carrier information, and API access. Batch processing is listed from the Professional tier upward.
Forward vs reverse: two different billing models
BatchData publishes two distinct skip-tracing products, and the billing logic differs between them in a way that materially affects cost on imperfect lists.
Forward skip tracing (address in, phone out) is sold as an allowance of skip traces per month — the plan price buys you N attempts. A record that comes back empty still counts against the allowance, because you paid for the attempt, not the result. This is the standard model in the skip-tracing market.
Reverse skip tracing (phone in, owner out) is billed per matched record. The published rate is 50% higher per unit than the corresponding forward tier — $3,000/mo at Growth vs $2,000/mo — but the seller absorbs the misses. On a file with a high no-result rate, reverse pricing can cost less in total than forward pricing at the same unit rate, because you are not paying for empty rows.
| Product | Billing unit | Who carries miss risk | Growth tier price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forward skip tracing | Per attempt (allowance) | You | $2,000/mo |
| Reverse skip tracing | Per matched record | BatchData | $3,000/mo |
The practical test: run a sample of your real file through both and compute cost per returned record, not cost per submitted row. If your list is clean and recent — owner-of-record names, current addresses — forward pricing may be cheaper in practice. If your list is older or pulled from a thin data source, paying per match can end up cheaper despite the higher sticker.
What the rate card leaves out
Three things to confirm before committing to a tier:
- What happens when you don't use the full allowance. The card does not state whether unused records roll over or expire. A floor whose volume is lumpy — heavy after a storm, light in slow months — needs to know this before signing annually.
- Overage cost above the allowance. The published tiers define a monthly ceiling. Running above it in a busy month costs more, and the per-record overage rate is not on the public card. Ask before your first large upload.
- Add-on pricing. Property owner profiles, demographics, deed history, valuation, and comparable data are listed as add-ons priced separately by tier. If any are load-bearing for your targeting, get them quoted before you compare against anything.
Converting the rate to cost per dialable contact
A per-record rate is only useful to compare if every vendor defines a record the same way and every vendor returns the same yield on your specific file — and neither is true. The comparison that survives is cost per dialable contact: total monthly spend across every product line you buy, divided by records that came back with a working number reaching the right person.
At Growth ($2,000/mo, 100k records), a 75% match rate and 65% working-number rate leaves 48,750 dialable contacts and an effective cost of roughly $0.041 per contact — more than double the $0.020 sticker rate. Your numbers will differ; the arithmetic is in the skip tracing cost calculator.

Frequently asked questions
What happened to BatchSkipTracing?
BatchSkipTracing is now a legacy brand name. In 2025, BatchLeads and BatchDialer were acquired by PropStream's parent company, while BatchData continued as an independent company and absorbed the BatchSkipTracing product line. Today, batchskiptracing.com redirects to batchdata.io, and the pricing you find there is BatchData's published skip-tracing rate card. The full family map is in BatchLeads vs BatchData.
How much does BatchData skip tracing cost per record?
As publicly advertised on batchdata.io in September 2026, BatchData's skip-tracing plans run from $2,000/month for up to 100,000 records ($0.020 per record at full consumption) to $20,000/month for up to 3 million records ($0.0067 per record). Reverse skip tracing — billed per matched record — is priced at 50% more than the corresponding forward tier. DNC and litigator scrub are listed as included in all skip-tracing plans.
Does BatchData charge for misses — records where no phone is found?
The forward skip-tracing plans are sold as a monthly allowance of skip traces, which means you pay for the attempt. A record that returns no result counts against the allotment just as a successful one does. Reverse skip tracing is billed per matched record, so on the reverse product misses are not charged. If miss rate is a concern, confirm the no-result treatment in writing before you upload a large file.
Is BatchData skip tracing the same as what BatchLeads offers?
No. After the 2025 acquisition, BatchLeads (now under PropStream's parent) and BatchData are separate companies with separate products and pricing. If a vendor quote says Batch skip tracing, confirm which entity you are buying from before you sign anything.
