Knockio costs $20 per user per month for its Prospect canvassing plan at 5 or more users ($25 for 1–4), $30 for Organize, $45 for Growth and a custom rate for Scale, as publicly advertised on knockio.com/pricing in October 2026. Those are among the lowest published per-seat prices in our door-to-door app comparisons, so the bill is rarely the best reason to switch. The better reason is that Knockio is becoming two products at once, and your team may want only one of them.
Disclosure: Scout Data is our product; treat that entry as a maker’s pitch and the rest as our honest read.
What a crew actually pays
Knockio prices every plan per user, with a lower rate from the fifth seat. Worked out from the published rates, before Engage phone numbers or Pre-Knocked Data:
| Crew size | Prospect (canvassing) | Organize (field service) | Growth (both) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 reps | $75/mo | $105/mo | $180/mo |
| 4 reps | $100/mo | $140/mo | $240/mo |
| 5 reps | $100/mo | $150/mo | $225/mo |
| 10 reps | $200/mo | $300/mo | $450/mo |
| 25 reps | $500/mo | $750/mo | $1,125/mo |
Two things fall out of the arithmetic. On Prospect, the fifth seat is free: four reps and five reps both cost $100 a month. On Growth, adding the fifth rep makes the bill smaller, $240 down to $225. A four-person crew shopping alternatives should price five seats before comparing anything.
Knockio is turning into a field-service CRM
Knockio’s product menu, read in October 2026, lists door-to-door canvassing software first, then a field-service CRM and field-service management software. The Growth plan, the one marked recommended, adds pipelines, estimates, work orders, invoices, payments and inventory to the canvassing tools, under the line “Sell the job. Run the job. Get paid.” A pop-up on the pricing page asks visitors deciding “between Knockio, Jobber, or ServiceTitan” for 30 minutes. That is where the product is heading.
For a crew that wants both halves from one vendor, that direction is the reason to stay. For a team that already runs its jobs in a roofing or HVAC CRM, it means paying attention to which plan holds which feature, and the alternatives split the same way.
If you only want the canvassing half
- SalesRabbit or SPOTIO for a large org that needs territory rules, rep activity and manager reporting at scale — SalesRabbit alternatives and SPOTIO alternatives compare both.
- Knockbase for canvassing with leaderboards and a commission calculator, quoted rather than published — Knockbase alternatives.
- Terros for the lightest possible area-and-knock tracking, often bought by the rep — Terros alternatives.
If you only want the CRM half
Roofing teams usually weigh JobNimbus against AccuLynx, and the deciding question is how much of your work is an insurance claim. HVAC and general home-service shops compare Jobber and ServiceTitan, where the seat model matters more than the feature list. Any of them can sit behind a separate canvassing app; Knockio’s argument is that you should not need two.
Pre-Knocked Data at 15¢ an address
Knockio’s Prospect plan lists “Pre-Knocked Data (15¢ per address)” as a feature, and its menus show a separate Lead Generation feature as “coming soon” in October 2026. The pricing page does not say which fields an address carries, so ask in the demo exactly what 15¢ buys before you budget for a territory.
That question is the one Scout was built around. Scout Data puts every home in a territory on one map with its property signals — roof age, new permits, storm paths, move-ins and the owner on title — drawn from county records, permits and aerial imagery. Reps decide which doors are worth the walk before they leave the truck, then log the knock in whichever canvassing app the company runs. For the week after a storm specifically, read how to canvass after a hailstorm; for the whole field of apps, the door-knocking app comparison.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Knockio cost?
As publicly advertised on knockio.com/pricing in October 2026: Prospect (field sales) is $20 per user per month at 5 or more users and $25 for 1–4 users; Organize (field service) is $30 and $35; Growth (both together) is $45 and $60; Scale, for 100+ reps, is custom. Engage phone numbers are $15 per number per month, and Pre-Knocked Data is 15¢ per address.
Does Knockio have a free trial?
Its pricing page, read in October 2026, lists no free trial. It advertises no contracts, prorated billing and no setup fees, with free onboarding on the self-serve plans, and offers a booked demo. Ask about a trial in the demo if you want to test it on a crew first.
Is Knockio a canvassing app or a CRM?
Both, depending on the plan. Prospect is the door-to-door canvassing app: territories, routes, rep tracking, presentations and digital contracts. Organize is a field-service CRM: pipelines, estimates, work orders, invoices and inventory. Growth is the two in one platform, so a lead won at the door moves into scheduling, estimates and invoicing without being typed in twice.
What is a good Knockio alternative for a roofing canvassing team?
If you want only the canvassing half, SalesRabbit and SPOTIO are the established door-to-door platforms and Knockbase is a newer one. If you want the CRM half, roofing teams usually compare JobNimbus and AccuLynx. If the reps are knocking the wrong streets, neither half helps: Scout, from Scout Data, shows roof age, permits, storm paths and the owner on title for every home before the knock.
