PrimeTracers sells skip tracing at $0.07 down to $0.03 per match on pay-as-you-go credits in its app, and through an Enrichment API from $199/month for 5,000 credits, as publicly advertised on primetracers.com in October 2026. It is a cheap, self-serve way to put phones on a property list you already have. Whether it is the right source for a dialing floor turns on what a “match” includes, and on what it leaves to you.
Disclosure: Scout Data is our product; treat that mention as a maker's pitch and the rest as our honest read.
Two price lists from one company
PrimeTracers runs two storefronts. The app at app.primetracers.com is for investors, agents and sales teams: free property search, free standard list exports, sign-up with no credit card, and skip tracing bought as credit packs. The site at primetracers.com sells the same kind of data to developers as Property, Enrichment and Bundle API plans. The app's credit tiers, as listed in October 2026:
| App tier | Price per match | Credits per purchase | Roughly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $0.07 | 150 to 749 | $10.50 to $53 |
| Silver | $0.06 | 750 to 2,999 | $45 to $180 |
| Gold | $0.05 | 3,000 to 9,999 | $150 to $500 |
| Platinum | $0.04 | 10,000 to 49,999 | $400 to $2,000 |
| Diamond | $0.03 | 50,000 to 100,000 | $1,500 to $3,000 |
| Sapphire | Contact for pricing | 100,000+ matches | Custom contract |
The API's Enrichment plans, which include “skip tracing (phone & email)” alongside demographic and lifestyle fields, run $199/month for 5,000 credits, $900 for 30,000, $3,000 for 120,000 and $8,100 for 450,000, with overage from $0.05 down to $0.018 per credit. The pricing page does not say how many credits one skip trace spends, so the per-trace cost of the API is a question to put to the vendor rather than a number to compute.
What a match includes, and what it doesn't
The app promises “80%+ accuracy on contacts” and contact by “mobile, phone, or email.” That is the vendor's own claim, not an audited figure, and accuracy can mean several different things; the ways to measure it on your own file are in skip tracing accuracy. Three things a dialing floor needs are not described on either pricing page as of October 2026:
- Do Not Call and litigator scrubbing. Not mentioned. You run that step, and pay for it, between the trace and the dialer.
- Which number belongs to the owner. A match returns contact data for the property owner; how numbers are ranked when there are several is not stated.
- Dead-number handling. Credit packs buy matches. There is no stated replacement for a number that turns out to be disconnected.
None of that makes PrimeTracers a poor tracer. It makes it a tracer, and a trace is one stage of the job a call center actually buys.
When PrimeTracers is the right tool
It is hard to argue with $0.03 to $0.07 per match and no subscription when you already have the addresses: a wholesaler working a tax-delinquent list, an agent tracing a farm, a small team topping up a CRM. The API suits a developer wiring owner lookups into their own product; PrimeTracers says a team can go from signup to a live API call in under 3 minutes with no sales call. If that is your workflow, a pay-as-you-go tracer is a reasonable answer and this page is mostly a checklist for using it.
Where to look instead
The alternatives depend on what you walk in with and what has to walk out.
| You have | You need | Look at |
|---|---|---|
| An address list | Phones appended at volume through an API | Bulk and API tracers such as BatchData; see BatchSkipTracing alternatives |
| An address list | Per-hit tracing in a simple web app | Investor tracers; see Skip Genie alternatives |
| Investor criteria | Property research with tracing on top | Investor platforms; see PropStream alternatives |
| A floor of agents and a target market | A dialer-ready homeowner file, scrubbed | Signal-built list vendors such as Scout Data |
The last row is where Scout Data sits. It builds homeowner lists from county records, permits and aerial imagery, matches mobile numbers to the owner on title, and delivers the file Do Not Call scrubbed with dead numbers replaced. For full-service data, it is one monthly rate quoted after the free test batch.

Frequently asked questions
How much does PrimeTracers skip tracing cost?
In its app, PrimeTracers sells skip tracing on pay-as-you-go credits from $0.07 per match (150-credit minimum) down to $0.03 per match for 50,000 to 100,000 credits, as publicly advertised on app.primetracers.com in October 2026. Its Enrichment API, which includes skip tracing, starts at $199/month for 5,000 credits.
Does PrimeTracers require a subscription?
Not in the app: its pricing section says “no contracts, no recurring fees” and sells credit packs. The developer API is different: Property, Enrichment and Bundle plans are monthly plans from $99, $199 and $250 a month respectively, per primetracers.com/pricing in October 2026.
Does PrimeTracers scrub phone numbers against the Do Not Call list?
Neither the app's pricing and FAQ nor the API pricing page mentions Do Not Call or litigator scrubbing as of October 2026. A call center using its numbers should plan to scrub them before they reach a dialer; what that step costs on its own is in DNC scrub cost.
What is the best PrimeTracers alternative for a call center?
A call center that does not already have its list is better served by a vendor that builds the list and delivers the phones scrubbed. Scout Data builds homeowner lists from county records, permits and aerial imagery, matches mobile numbers to the owner on title and offers a free test batch before any monthly rate.
