ProspectNow, now sold as Prospect by Buildout, costs $299 a month for a three-county Regional plan or $499 a month for the National plan on monthly billing, and $199 or $349 a month billed annually, as publicly advertised on prospect-by-buildout.com/pricing in October 2026. The number that matters for a call center is not the subscription but the allowance inside it: owner unlocks, which are what put a phone number, email and mailing address on a record, and which run from 50 to 500 a month.
Disclosure: Scout Data is our product and is named once below as an alternative; treat that line as a maker’s pitch.
What one owner unlock costs
Divide each plan’s price by its monthly unlocks and the plans stop looking alike. The prices and allowances are from the pricing page in October 2026; the last column is that division, assuming every unlock is used.
| Plan | Billing | Price | Owner unlocks a month | Per unlock, if all used |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Regional (3 counties) | Monthly | $299/mo | 50 | $5.98 |
| National | Monthly | $499/mo | 100 | $4.99 |
| Regional (5 counties) | Annual | $199/mo ($2,388 a year) | 200 | $0.995 |
| National | Annual | $349/mo ($4,188 a year) | 500 | $0.70 |
Two details from the same page change the arithmetic. Only the annual plans list “Property & Owner Data Export” among their features; the monthly plans do not mention it. And the annual Regional plan covers five counties where the monthly one covers three. A buyer who wants to move unlocked contacts into a dialer is, on the face of the page, looking at the annual plans.
Why the allowance decides it for a dialing floor
The largest plan’s 500 unlocks a month comes to about 23 owners a business day over a 22-day month. That is a healthy pipeline for a commercial broker working relationships. It is a fraction of one rep’s morning on a power dialer. Beyond the allowance, the FAQ points teams to sales for an account sharing “one credit pool”, with no published price.
The unlocked number also arrives unscrubbed as far as the page says. Prospect’s FAQ points callers to obtain their own SAN for the national Do Not Call registry, “required if you plan to call consumer numbers”, so the scrub, and the cost of the numbers it removes, sit with you. Why that matters, and what a scrub costs, is in DNC scrub cost.
Who Prospect is built for
The site is explicit. It serves real estate sales and brokerage, banks and lending, property service providers, and tax and insurance professionals, and its FAQ says it “is designed for commercial and residential real estate professionals”. Its headline feature is an AI “likely seller” prediction meant to surface properties up to 12 months before they list, and its homepage counts 100,791,325 residential and 51,634,162 commercial properties (October 2026). If you broker or lend, and you want a few hundred well-chosen owners a month, that is a coherent product.
Alternatives, by what you came for
- Residential owner research with contacts. Subscription tools that filter homes by equity, sale date and ownership, with contact data priced on top, are compared in PropertyRadar alternatives and PropStream alternatives.
- Commercial owners and tenants. If Prospect’s commercial side is what you used, the commercial-first platforms are in Reonomy alternatives.
- Homeowner calling at floor volume. When the need is thousands of homeowners a week rather than hundreds of owners a month, buy a finished file instead of an unlock allowance. Scout Data selects homes on property signals from county records, permits and aerial imagery and delivers each with a mobile matched to the owner on title, scrubbed against the Do Not Call registry before delivery. The way to compare it with an unlock is in homeowner data cost per record.
Pricing on this page is as publicly advertised on prospect-by-buildout.com at the time of writing; the per-unlock column is our arithmetic on those figures. Confirm current pricing with the vendor, and with our sales team for Scout Data.
Frequently asked questions
How much does ProspectNow cost?
ProspectNow, now sold as Prospect by Buildout, advertises a Regional plan at $299 a month (three counties, 50 owner unlocks a month) and a National plan at $499 a month (100 unlocks) on monthly billing, or $199 and $349 a month billed annually with 200 and 500 unlocks, on prospect-by-buildout.com/pricing in October 2026. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
Is ProspectNow the same as Prospect by Buildout?
Yes, as far as a buyer is concerned. In October 2026 prospectnow.com redirects to prospect-by-buildout.com, whose header carries a “Looking for ProspectNow? Log into your account here” link. The product, plans and free trial on this page are the ones that site sells.
Does ProspectNow scrub phone numbers against the Do Not Call list?
Its FAQ does not say it does. Under compliance, it links instructions to obtain a SAN — the account number for the national Do Not Call registry — which it calls “required if you plan to call consumer numbers” (October 2026). Plan on scrubbing unlocked numbers yourself before they reach a dialer.
